BROOKLYN TOWNHOME
A townhome renovation in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, designed to serve dual purposes: a professional filming and editing studio alongside a flexible art auction display space capable of hosting rotating exhibitions.
The central design element was an operable skylight cut into the center of the townhome roof and second floor, allowing light to permeate the full vertical extent of the unit and creating a dynamic relationship between the upper and lower levels.
